  • “My husband and I needed to find new health care coverage after he lost his job. We were both overwhelmed with trying to figure out how to pay our bills with one income. We needed to find new health care quickly because he has ongoing health concerns. We were so grateful to be connected to a Health Navigator from the Health For All coalition. They were able to walk us through the Medi-Cal application and submit it on our behalf”

  • “I was recently diagnosed with a variety of health issues and placed in hospice. Although I am insured through Medicare, it was not able to cover the full cost of treatments and medications. I was struggling to keep up with the out-of-pocket payments. One day my case manager recommended I apply for a secondary insurance. I was then connected with a Health Navigator from the Health For All coalition who assisted me in filling out and submitting my application right away. I am so thankful for the support. Before connecting with them, I did not believe there were any other options to help me pay my medical bills.“

  • “I recently moved from Orange County to San Bernardino County and needed to minimize my Medi-Cal coverage gap. I first tried to connect with the County office to update my information but experienced long wait times. I then ran into a Health Navigator from the Health For All coalition at my local grocery store. They were able to assist me in enrolling and updating my information through BenefitsCal all within the same month of me moving. Due to this quick support, I was able to continue my diabetes treatment without interruption.”
