HOW IS THE PROGRAM FUNDED?
Money for the Help2Others Assistance Program is provided by each of the valley's public water districts. For Joshua Basin Water District, funding for this program comes from non-water revenues (such as revenues collected from delinquent property taxes and not from direct customer payments). In addition, anyone can make a tax-deductible donation directly into the program via United Way of the Desert. Payment can be processed online via credit card or Apple Pay (on mobile), by mailing a check to United Way of the Desert (P.O. Box 13210, Palm Desert, CA 92255), or calling by (760) 323-2731 x105.
Program availability is based on the amount of funding available. Your donation would help sustain the Help2Others Assistance Program.
